LOLCard has launched an
online greeting card service that allows users to customise greetings cards and
have them posted first class for next day delivery.
Stockport UK, 6 December 2012- LOLCard has launched a brand new online greetings card
service, uniquely integrated with Facebook, that allows customers to create
personalised humorous greetings cards based on a selection of unique designs
and to have them delivered by first class post, all at a budget price.

Fitzsimons explained how the company is differentiated from other web based
greeting card firms. Describing his cards as “Austerity busting” he went on to
point out that “Our pricing of only £2.89 a card is simple and straightforward,
just like the rest of our site, and all prices include first class delivery as
standard”.
LOLCard also uses advanced
technology which is integrated directly with Facebook and which makes creating
a greeting card a very easy matter. “You can view all of your friends upcoming Birthdays,
get one-click access to pictures of them plus lots more. Our technology aims to
make it simpler and faster for our customers”.
All of the LOLCard designs
are original and unique as well as being customisable. Users can add their
personal text and upload photographs either from their computer or from Facebook
to really personalise their cards. As Mr Fitzsimons pointed out, “We are a little different and
hopefully a bit more fun! All our card designs are unique to LOLCard and we are
always looking for graphic designers and keen students to send us more great designs”.
Editing
the cards is very straightforward. As well as customising text and adding
photographs, users can also move and resize images. The company also offers fast turnaround times and all cards ordered by 8.00 am are posted first
class the same day.
With ambitious plans for growth,
the company is currently seeking to raise further capital from investors in
return for equity stakes. Explaining the company’s future plans, Mr Fitzsimons said “Investment
will allow us to continue improving our site and proprietary software with even
more innovative features, marketing our business, improving efficiency as we
grow, and increasing our product range.

The Launch! 01/12/12
So LOLCard.co.uk is finally live!
We have our first few days orders under the belt (all successful!) and have now activated Facebook and Google Ad's, just in time for Christmas. Our launch price is £2.49 during December (including delivery as always).
